Why do SMS to numbers that are originally orange switzerland (078) but now are ported to sunrise or swisscom still cost 1.75 Credits? [Q1028]
The ASPSMS System charges the required Credits for an SMS in Switzerland on the basis of the operator prefix (079, 076, 078). The current provider of a ported number is unknown to us since our network partners are not able to forward this information. On the other hand customers that have ported their swisscom or sunrise number to orange benefit from this. Due to this the price differences cancel each other for the average user and ASPSMS does not have any financial advantage from this.
